February 2013 SpiceBox : Let the fun begin!

"Let the FUN Begin!"  Valentines SpiceBox 

My Joy Collection Edible Body Icing {FULL SIZE} This is an edible icing that can be applied by using your fingers or paint brush {came included in box}. The jar is 1.5 oz in size and came in their Sensual Strawberry flavor.

Heart's Desire Warming Massager {FULL SIZE} As seen above, the heart shaped messager has a bend metal disc on the inside that when activated it produces a heat source. The massager heats up to 129 degrees F {which is 54 degrees C}. The messager provides a very gentle yet warm sensation by gliding it gently over the skin. 

Ben Wa Balls {FULL SIZE} These Oriental balls are used to help women strengthen their vaginal walls and bladder muscles. {more info to follow after this post,  trust me!}

Crazy Girl body mist {SAMPLE} This sample is a flirty body mist infused with a pheromone sex attractant to entice and inspire sexiness. Inside the sample envelope was a small wet tissue that is used to apply the body mist onto the skin as evenly as possible. The scent of this sample was "pink cupcake."

DONA Rose Petals {FULL SIZE} The plastic container was filled with bright red faux rose petals. 

Frolic Specialty Toy Lubricant for Women {SAMPLE} This product is water based and glycerin free. For topical uses only - this product is not a contraceptive and does not contain spermicide.

My Joy Collection Hot Lips {SAMPLE} This sample is a flavored massage oil. Made with Shea butter in the Ice Cream Cake Kiss flavor. Massage oil can be applied to several parts of the body providing a tingling sensation.

Max 4 Men Max Protect Moisture Control Balm {SAMPLE} The last sample included in the box is for MEN only. The moisture balm is unscented and pheromone infused - to be applied post shave providing protection to the skin. The balm is sugar free, sulfate free, and paraben free which means that this product can be used by all skin types.

My Findings:

I was surprised to see that there was a sample enclosed for men. Typically, most of the samples and products sent in these monthly subscription boxes are more centered around us women, which is perfectly fine, however it was a nice touch.

The Crazy Girl body mist is something that I would probably purchase for myself. The sample I received was in the "pink cupcake" scent - it smelled just like cupcake batter. Although the aroma was sweet it was not over bearing; and the aroma actually lasted longer than other body mists' I have tried in the past.

The DONA Rose Petals gave the spicebox a "romantic" vibe. There are more than enough petals to cover a good portion of a King sized bed.  The petals are soft and bendable - not like the plastic ones  I've seen! There are several uses for these faux rose petals other than the obvious: place some on the floor creating a trail to something unexpected, draw a bubble bath and place them in the tub to float around the surface of the water, place some on top of the table as decorations for a romantic dinner by candlelight...possibilities are endless.

Spicy Subscriptions really has set the bar very high for other "adult beauty" monthly subscription services. If you were to tally up the total prices of the full sized products that were included in this Valentine SpiceBox, it would easily supersede the amount of the subscriptions itself. Not to mention, that out of all the items, three of them {DONA Rose Petals, Warming Body Messager, and  Ben Wa Balls} have future usage.

Spicy Subscriptions Monthly Beauty Spice Box {Review}

Happy Monday Beauties! It's the first day back to work after the much needed winter break! Well, we are super excited to be back at the daily grind. Can you guess why? Other than missing all of you {of course!} we get to share some pretty awesome news about a special partnership we have with a monthly beauty box provider....EEEK!!

Spicy Subscriptions is a monthly beauty box provider whose goal is to add spice to the boudoir. Now, the contents inside a Spice Box can be used by anyone, whether you're married or single. In my opinion, that's a plus! As you can see in the photos above, the December 2012 Spice Box contained quite a few FULL SIZE products along with a few samples.

Let's break it down one item at time:

• ini-Mals - {FULL SIZE} This is a waterproof messager with a soft jelly stimulator on the top. The stimulator has bunny ears that flickers and vibrate when in use.
• Dona Kissable Body Drizzle in pomegranate martini- {FULL SIZE} As the name states, this body lotion is to be used as a tasty treat. The lotion is superfruit and aphrodisiac infused - this allows the lotion to condition the skin as well as provide flavor.

• Pink Lubricant - {SAMPLE} This creme lubricant is non staining,glycerin free and contains pure water mixed with creme emulsifiers along with a touch of silicone. The texture is ultra soft and velvety.
• Masque Sensual Flavored Gel Strips - {2 SAMPLES} Chocolate & Mango flavors - these gel strips are designed to melt on the tongue masking or blocking any flavors related to the forbidden zones.
• Aloe Cadabra Peppermint Tingle - {SAMPLE} This personal lubricant is 95% organic - main ingredients include organic aloe vera gel, vitamin E oil, and organic flavoring extracts.
• Good Clean Love - {SAMPLE} This product is also 95% organic - there are NO petrochemicals, parabens, and glycerin. This lubricant is 100% vegan!

There were two BONUS products in this Spice Box:

• Personal Lubricant for Women {SAMPLE} This brand is recommended for women with sensitive skin. Contains NO silicone, glycerin or oil.

Before I get into my personal findings, let me ask you a question: What other monthly beauty box provider, that you know of, gives this many products in ONE SINGLE box? {keep that thought in mind!}

My Findings:

When I opened the Spice Box, I was beyond amazed. There were three FULL SIZED items included with the samples - which were sent in pairs; in other words there were two samples a piece. So that means that there were a grand total of twelve items inside! Now, that is what I like to call a "real monthly beauty box!"

The Mini-Mals is adorable- the top is shaped like a bunny with ears. It's about the size of your hand, very light-weight and when in turned on does not make a lot of noise. Plus, it's waterproof - which is nice for those who like to be discreet.

Of all the different lubricants, Dona Kissable Body Drizzle and Aloe Cadabra are the top favorites. The body drizzle smells and tastes just like a jolly-rancher with hints of sweet and tangy notes. On the other hand, the Aloe Cadabra was tingly and refreshing. The peppermint flavors give a very cool and refreshing sensation. It was not sticky or sugary.

The other items have not been used as of yet. Honestly, there was so much product to try, we would definitely need more time so I can give you my honest feedback on the other samples! But once I have a chance to take them for a test drive I will come back and update this post.
