Fridays are my favorite days of the week. It's the end of the work week, all deadlines are usually completed by this time and Friday night is the best time to unwind and make plans for the weekend.

2. a pair of well fitting pants (dark blues)

5. business dress - solid color- can be worn different ways (with scarf, blazer, belt)

6. white party dress - this can also be in print

7. rain-boots - looking pulled together can be done no matter what the weather may be

Here are a few more ideas that we can do in addition to washing our laundry in cold water:

•When grocery shopping, purchase organic fruits and vegetables. You can do this two different ways: browse through the organic section in your favorite supermarket or better yet, take time to visit your local food markets.

•Avoid purchasing and using chlorinated household cleaners. These types of products have been linked to causing cancer. Instead use these alternatives: baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, lemon and vinegar.

•When in need of purchasing any type of beauty or skin care product, take a few minutes to read the label listing the ingredients inside product. Try to buy the products that do not contain triclosan - this ingredient can be very toxic for your skin.

•Save energy in your home by turning off the lights when you leave a room.

•If you have several electrical appliances (tv, computers, printers, ect) try plugging these in by using a electrical extension cord with a built in switch, this way you can turn off the power cord at night and save energy this way.

JCP: Fair and Square

As if we didn't love spending some of our hard earned money at JCPenny, they have revamped their marketing. Now we don't have to worry about missing a sale, expiring coupons, or being hassled when we have to return an item.

I am, of course, super excited about this change. I was never much of a fan of JCPenny as a young adult, however, now as a wife, mother, and a wiser shopper, JCPenny has become on of my favorites. I can always shop there for my daughter, my husband, or anything for the home,always sure that I will find great savings.

We Love Wu! Jason Wu for Target That Is!

Have you heard the latest news happening at Target this month? If not, I have only one question for you: "where the H-E-double-L have you been hiding?"

During the past few months, Target has made changes to the types of apparel they are marketing to us, the consumers. If I say so myself, these changes were well over due and are much appreciated!

One of the NEW designer fashions seen recently was the introduction of the Missoni line. Once the Missoni pieces hit their racks, Target stores were flooded with shoppers, their online store site crashed several times, not to mention, Missoni pieces were completely SOLD OUT within the beginning hours of the introduction sale!

Unfortunately, I was among those who were left out in the dust to rot. I tried logging into my Target online account: NO MISSONI. Drove to my favorite Target store, which is less that a mile from our condo, NADA MISSONI. EVERYTHING WAS GONE!

Well, this may happen to me once BUT it is not going to happen to me twice!

On February 5th, which is only 4 days away, Target will now introduce us to the styling wisdom of Jason Wu. According to Targets' advertising, Jason Wu apparel, "signature are clean lines ans smart details."

There's A Fashion Frenzy Going On!

If you haven't noticed it by now, one of my favorite stores to shop at is The Limited. I have shared with you a few of their weekly specials in hopes that others can become a fan, such as myself. Top 5 Winter Wardrobe Must Haves

Tired of wearing the same winter clothing every winter season? I have an easy solution for you: Buy winter wardrobe pieces that are single colored; buy pieces that can be dressed "up" or dressed "down". Another idea is to buy "staple" pieces; this will not only save you money but it also makes for an easier way to put an outfit together.
