2012 Back to School Top Picks

Happy Monday Fashion-istas!

This past weekend was focused on back to school shopping. Out first stop was Old Navy. The main reason for this was, of course, Lil Diva saw the commercial highlighting the $10 sale on jeans, $5 graphic tees and she had her eye on a pair of Ballet Flats. 

So to Old Navy we went!

Here is what we purchased for her thus far:

These were just a few items among the ones we purchased this weekend. As Old Navy's Back to School sale continues until 8/15/12 I am sure that somehow we will be making another appearance to the Easton store very soon!

Leading Lady: The support and comfort you need!

Ladies, we all have had this happen to us at one point in time. For most of us, the bra we choose to wear is not always the BEST for our particular figure, but that doesn't stop us, now does it?  One thing that I have always been taught as a young adult, was that taking the time out to go and get a bra fitting was the ONLY way to really find out what the correct size and fit was.  I could not agree more - this is nothing but the truth.

Introducing Brazil and its Magical Journey

FAB Friday has arrived!

I have always been a fan of Macy's. They are one of the few stores that come up with innovative promotions and trendy designer collections made affordable - just for us!

This morning I decided to take a trip to Macy's in Easton Town Center in Columbus, Oh to look around and do some much needed window shopping. When I got there, to my surprise there were at least another 50 women waiting to get inside! But I am so happy I fought my way through the masses...why?

I was able to get an up close view of the new fashion collection that Macy's has displayed in stores and online: A Magical Journey through Brasil

The collections are amazing - the colors are bold, bright, exotic neon, floral print, neon accessories and so much more! I was (and still am) head over heels in love with Brasil collection. I believe it has a lot to do with the fact that all the fashion pieces remind me of home, Puerto Rico.

•When in need of purchasing any type of beauty or skin care product, take a few minutes to read the label listing the ingredients inside product. Try to buy the products that do not contain triclosan - this ingredient can be very toxic for your skin.

•Save energy in your home by turning off the lights when you leave a room.

•If you have several electrical appliances (tv, computers, printers, ect) try plugging these in by using a electrical extension cord with a built in switch, this way you can turn off the power cord at night and save energy this way.

Who has not wanted to have a luxury piece of Louis Vuitton in their closet? I would think every woman in America and beyond! Rightfully so, might I add. The designer label, Louis Vuitton, is known for their huge collections in apparel,watches,jewelry, home,and,of course,luggage. Good Morning! It feels good to be back in sync with the Daily Fashion and Beauty News!
