When I received this bracelet and charm I was completely taken away by the quality of the jewelry. The charms are easy to thread onto the bracelet - the charm I received screws onto the clasp and then sits quite nicely on the bracelet.

Sexy Shoes and Where to Get Them

"Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world"... These are mighty strong words coming from one of the most iconic beauties of all times..Marilyn Monroe. In my humble opinion I honestly believe Marilyn was on to something when she said these words.

Wearing a pair of shoes that you absolutely love really can give you that boost of self confidence that sometimes is needed. I for one, love shoes! I can never have enough pairs of shoes to wear. I like having a wide variety to choose from. And it is because of that I tend do shoe shop at least once every few weeks.

The past few days have been rather depressing, so in hopes of motivating myself I decided to take a few minutes for myself and shoe shop. Where did I go? Instead of leaving the house (it's too cold outside!) I went online to one of my favorite online shoe boutiques, Shoe Dazzle.

Shoe Dazzle has a great selection in shoes; there is absolutely a style that fits everyone. For example, I love all shoes - my only guideline when looking for a new pair of shoes is that it has to have a heel. The higher the heel, the better!

Standing at only 4ft 9in you can understand why stilettos, wedges and platform shoes are the style I gravitate to most.

While searching through the online shoe section, I came across a simply styled bootie that I had heard about a few weeks ago but never got the chance to take a closer look at it. Which shoe am I referring to?

Allow me to introduce you to: Nethia

Nethia  is the creation of one of the most talked about Real Housewives of the Bravo network, Nene Leakes. A few weeks ago, Shoe Dazzle posted the news via Facebook however I was not able to look into it until today, when listening to a commercial announcing the series premier of the Real Housewives of Atlanta airing Sunday, I immediately remembered! 

The Nethia is a chic bootie with gold metallic platform and heel and with lace cutouts going across the front. This bootie is only available in black, the height of the heel is 5.25", the front platform is 1.25" in height and the bootie is faux-suede with an exposed zipper.

My favorite aspect of Nethia is not only the height of the heel, but the simple style of the bootie itself. I can certainly see the appeal of wanting (or should I say, needing) a pair - these can easily be paired with skinny jeans or leggings for daytime wear or with a A-Line dress and blazer for an evening out.

So, for the price of $39.95, these booties would certainly make up for their cost.  Best of all, according to Shoe Dazzle, "100% of the profits (from this shoe) will benefit Saving Our Daughters, an organization that provides teen girls with the tools to combat all forms of abuse against women". 

Now that is definitely a good reason why I need to get my hands on a pair of  Nethia  and soon!

Style Made Easy with No nonsense Leggings and Tights

When it comes to style one of the most important features to any outfit should be: comfort. Wearing an outfit that is both comfortable to wear and stylish allows you to become more confident.
Of all the latest fashion trends, the two pieces that are considered to be "must haves" in my personal wardrobe are leggings and tights.  Having several pairs of leggings is recommended. Why?

Leggings are comfortable, easy to style, easy to wear and can be very flattering to your silhouette.  The same applies to wearing tights. Wearing a pair of  tights immediately adds a pop of color to any outfit. Which brings me to the fun part of this post.

Last week I received a pair of No nonsense Leggins and Tights. I was encourage to take them both for a drive and so I did.  Before going into the specifics of these two fashion pieces, I would like to share my two outfits that I put together:

Starting with the No nonsense Leggings, let me just say that these are extremely comfortable.  Once you have them on, it is very easy to forget that your wearing leggings. The No nonsense Leggings are 57% cotton, 38% polyester and 5% spandex. The pair I received were black in size small (which is comparable to pant size 4-6). I want to point out, I am normally petite (a size zero) and I am only 4'9 in height which makes it almost impossible to find leggings that I can wear without the need of tailoring.

The reason I say this is because although the Leggings are size Small they did fit however I did have a little "wiggle" room in the legs; but this was not overly noticeable.  The Leggings are also available in M (8-10) L (12-14) XL (16-18) and XXL (20-22).  Not only has No nonsense made sure to have a variety of sizes but the leggings also come in a variety of styles, colors and fabrics.

The No nonsense Tights are amazingly easy to put on. They literally glide over the legs and have no bunching at the bottom around the ankles. The pair I received were Deep Burgundy in size Small (4'11-5'6 100-150lbs). These Tights are control top and super opaque; which is perfect for the Fall season being that they are not transparent and the material is on the thicker end. The Panty portion of tights are 78% Nylon and 22% spandex; the Leg is 89% Nylon and only 11% spandex.  No nonsense Tights are available in sizes Medium, Large, X-Large and XX-Large.

I have to say that I am extremely excited to have these two items from No nonsense as additions to my Fall wardrobe. Having the Leggings and Tights will certainly make styling outfits much easier.  Not to mention that I look forward to purchasing a few more items from the No nonsense collection since they are easily found at most drug stores and retailers here in Columbus, Ohio.

This past weekend was focused on back to school shopping. Out first stop was Old Navy. The main reason for this was, of course, Lil Diva saw the commercial highlighting the $10 sale on jeans, $5 graphic tees and she had her eye on a pair of Ballet Flats. 

So to Old Navy we went!

How to Get the "Tousled Wavy" Effect for Your Hair

The Tousled Wavy hairstyle has been trending for quite a while now. Some of us may think that we cannot style our hair this way because it is either too short, too thin, or we are just not that fortunate to have a hair stylist at home with us 24/7.

What if I told you that there is an easy way to achieve the tousled wavy hairstyle at home without the need of a hair stylist? It is possible, thank you to the editors of  Total Beauty.

Total Beauty has simplified this hair style process:

Step 1 = Prep Hair in shower by using products that will moisturize hair and control frizz.

Step 2 = Towel dry hair. Now you need some product: (1) if your hair is curly- use a little bit of gel (2) if your hair is straight or fine- use a volumizing mouse through out hair.

Step 3 = Blow Dry hair. You want to flip your over, use a diffuser (if you have one)if not just use your normal hair dryer. You want to make sure your hair is partially dry - Total Beauty recommends hair should be 85% dry only -
